Nengren Temple is located in the Jiujiang urban district with the old name of "receives the day courtyard"  It was first constructed during the reign of Emperor Liangdi of Southern Dynasty (A.D. 503 - 528 years). The name was later changed to Nengren Temple during the bright Hongwu 31 years (1498).
The existing buildings comprised mainly those built in the Qing Dynasty. The palace temple area is approximately 3,000 square meters, and is Jiujiang city's biggest existing ancient architectural complexes. Inner is the imposing "Daxiong Palace", as well as Jin"gang Palace, hard Buddhist temple hall, about monk's room and Buddhist scriptures building and other ancient construction.
In addition, the original eight scenery of the "big victory tower", the "Hanyang Bridge", "flies the stone ship", "the rain puts on the stone", "the iceberg", "and the snow hole" and others still remained. The slope accentuates the temple construction, the layout liberally appearing natural and profound. The environment is unique, strange, exquisite and fascinating
